The 2013 trail
This year we will be beginning the Art & Wine Trail at Artisans of Barossa, featuring 'Romantic Reverie' by Lee Teusner. Lee's paintings explore a feminine world, the space of romantic reverie that gets forgotten in real life. Glimpses of a world she makes time to be beautiful.
Following Artisans we stop at Turkey Flat Vineyards, showcasing emerging printmaker & artist Loique Allain. Loique's work focuses on the notion of place and human connection to land. In creating her work she draws on her intuition, memory and observation.
Stop number 3 is Peter Lehmann Wines, with paintings and sculpture by SA Great-Arts Award winning artist, Rod Schubert.
Out of Tanunda we head to Whistler Wines, where the gardens are adorned by Roland Weight's steel assemblage sculptures. They can be viewed as three-dimensional drawings, using the thrust and delineation of steel to shape the space in & around it.
Finally, to the home of fortified wines at Seppeltsfield, Lise Temple's bright, bold paintings are interpretations of the South Australian Landscape. Vineyards, rural vistas and Flinders Ranges.
