SALA Degustation Barossa 2011
Planning for the 2011 SALA Degustation Barossa is currently underway. This year's event will be held on Friday August 5 and include five Barossa wineries - Turkey Flat Vineyards, Peter Lehmann Wines, Whistler Wines, Hentley Farm and Seppeltsfield.
Here's a little taste of what you can expect...
Turkey Flat - Igora's Textile Art creations are her expression of physical, spiritual, and emotional experiences gathered from our natural surroundings, its people, their stories and their feelings.
Peter Lehmann Wines - Thom Buchanan's new body of work 'Terrain' looks at vistas from across South Australia, incorporating the beauty of the landscape and the natural environment.
Whistler Wines - Dudley's work is predominantly 3D Australian animals in corrugated iron. He joins as many as fifty layers of iron to create the desired size.
Hentley Farm - Greg Donovan's research and studio practice explores the connection between social inequality defined by space and notions of cultural displacement and its representations.
Seppeltsfield - Local artist Sabine McQueen, sculptor/multi-media using reclaimed and new mediums. Plus four artist friends; Hayley, Janys, Lynda and Charlie enjoy painting a wide range of subjects.
